Now is my Review of “Fierce Disco V” it's release date was March 5th, I had posted this review on other sites, had some delays getting to SL, but here it is. :)

I was privileged to receive a pre-release copy (yay me!) of Fierce Angel’s newest compilation, by agreeing to provide an unbiased review of the 2 CD collection.
I know a few of my friends back home in the NY/NJ area may not be familiar with “Fierce Angel”. So here, the short of it is Fierce Angel is an awesome UK based record label. It’s the baby of Mark Doyle, who has seen 3 Top Ten UK Chart hits & 10 top Ten club chart hits. More info here; http://www.thefutureisfierce.com/djprofile.php?ID=3

So here it is; I gave it two solid listens thru, plus on & off in my car around & about this weekend. Conclusion? I will most definitely be listening to it again and again. Bottom line, Mark Doyle is a master at perfectly assembling tracks.
He has literally brought the entire sound-atmosphere of an upscale, lounge/club to ones living room/car/ipod.
The bonus? It will not fail any party one may want to throw, because this is what Fierce Angel does, they are professionals at bringing the life to the party/club, so you can be super sure this CD is compiled to satisfy.

Now to dive into the meat for real music lovers,
I found this collection to be a sort of epic journey thru time, pulling in slivers of sound from the 70’s, 80’s up until to current day.
CD 1 jumps right into happy, retro-reminiscent beats yet mixed totally anew. I can imagine a house filling with people, drinks just being poured as the sounds smoothly work the room up. :)
Personal favorites on CD 1
“We Wanna Boogie” it’s a quirky song with fun bouncing beats, creating a cool-funk vibe.
“That’s What This Love Is” super danceable, uniquely twisting with one of my favorite 80’s songs.
“The Phantom’s Revenge” Funky, Happy beats, funny song.
“Jumping” Just listening to this makes you feel “Cool” it’s an upbeat, chillax type of song.

& Onto CD 2, Electro, refreshing and airy, totally in the now.
Personal favorites on CD 2
“Sweetest Night” Love this song… “Since your kisses found me” How awesome a line is that? It’s Sweet Sweetness.
“Don’t Look Back” This got to be one of the coolest songs out right now period. I love the reverberate on sections of the beat or/and vocals, super cool, truly unique. Just amazingly, awesome stuff.
“Born to Fly” I really enjoyed the lyrics here, it’s hopeful, feel good and simultaneously building up with the music, real nice. A great inspiration song.
“Embrace My Heart” Another great music/lyric combo. Sweet lyrics, “..Dancing under the moonlight…”
“The Little Things” This girls voice (Bonnie Bailey) is so sincerely sweet. The music is bouncy yet delicate enough to not compete with her vocals.

& There it is, I am done and I will now just enjoy the newest asset to my music collection without another thought, just me and the great sounds. :)
